Verein Verbundene Herzen is a non-profit public organization registered in the capital of Austria. The purpose of its creation was the desire of the participants to unite all those who sincerely worry about the fate of families and children affected by world wars. Members of the organization profess a peace-loving ideology and empathize with the devastating consequences of global political conflicts. First of all, when these consequences affect children, depriving them of family, home, warmth, comfort, education, joy and happiness. For the participants of the organization, it does not matter the continent, country, city or village in which the child has lost everything that is associated with a happy childhood. For them, there is no difference between the smile of a little girl from Sierra Leone, Iraq, Israel, Syria, Ukraine or Nagorno-Karabakh – after all, every child’s smile is priceless, unique, but at the same time the same in its sincerity. This is the main task of all participants – to make every effort so that children all over the world more oftenundefined smiled, were happy and healthy, educated, lived in full-fledged families and prosperity, did not starve and did not die from dehydration, injuries, artillery strikes and the like.
